Step 1: Familiarize and learn everything you can about Pilates. Soak it all up. In detail. Take as many Pilates classes with as many teachers as you can.

Step 2: Complete Pilates Teacher Training and become a certified Pilates Instructor. 

Pilates Instructor Certification Requirements

At Pilates Instructor Academy, we care about the success of our customers, your Pilates experience, and the completion of your Pilates Instructor Certification. We want our customers to have a great experience with our programs! Although our Pilates certifications are available to everyone, we require new customers to meet a few minimum prerequisites prior to jumping into a Pilates Teacher certification. Our prerequisites reinforce the commitment to certification and allow us to continue providing the highest quality Online Pilates Teacher Certifications. 

To qualify for Pilates Instructor training, you’ll need some basic knowledge of Pilates movements and/or experience in group fitness, dance, or yoga instruction as well as a basic understanding of anatomy.
